What this opportunity involves:
Based in our JLL corporate office in Brisbane CBD, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance professional seeking for a true accounting role. The Accountant will focus on the financial control, management reporting, business planning and analysis of a portfolio of residential properties.

This is a permanent part-time role – 3 days a week.

A snapshot of your role:
General Ledger management, Accounts Payable, rent roll and landlord processing

Management and administration of transaction fee associated with your portfolio

Month-end reconciliation and reporting, including budgeting, forecasting and variance reporting

P&L management, and assist in queries/reconciliations on income and expenses account

Raise monthly transaction fees, recharges and claims

Management and administration of all financial transactions associated with your portfolio

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

Achievement of or near completion of professional qualifications (CA or CPA) will be highly regarded

8+ years experience in financial accounting operations

Flexible to changing situations and ability to deal with ambiguity

Sound communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders

Highly organized with demonstrated ability to prioritize tight deadlines and conflicting priorities

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Experience in Property industry with real estate accounting system (MRI) and Peoplesoft will be highly regarded, but not essential
