Barlo Signs International is an industry leader manufacturing and installing state of the art electric signs in a timely manner since more than 50 years all over the country as well as internationally. Our mission: We Build and Expose your Brand Together. We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant/ HR, with growth potential, as part of the accounting team in our vibrant Electric Sign product manufacturing company.
Responsibilities Include:
Staff Accounting
· Coordinates a team of 3 experienced employees (Billing, AR, AP)
· Willing to discover and become proficient at https://www.keyedinerp.com/ (CRM/ERP) through online tutorials and Keyedin Support
· Makes sure the time and material are allocated in a timely manner so that the job costing module works accurately
· Makes sure Jobs are closed, invoices sent and receivables collected in a timely manner
· Prepares sales commission reports
· Issues and sends weekly dashboard to Owners/Managers
· Reconciles General Ledger accounts
· Prepares and posts Journal entries
· Calculates the depreciation of fixed assets and maintenance of the schedule
· Reconciles Bank statements
· Files Sales Tax returns
· Processes month-end, inventory, and year-end
· Works with CPA to prepare year-end by preparing audit schedules and other analyses
· Responsible for completing annual worker’s comp. Audits
Admin. part of HR
· Sends and controls before release for payment the weekly attendance and changes to a 3rd Party Payroll Company
· Processes on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, organize annual open enrollment and
· other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
· Proficient in Excel and any ERP/Accounting software
· 5+ years experience preferably in a small-mid-size manufacturing company
· Must be analytical, organized, and self-motivated
· Good communication skills

Most of Barlo staff is vaccinated. Air filtration of the Admin. building was upgraded to block particles of the size of a virus. Ample work space allows social distancing. Cloud based software and phone system allows remote work when necessary.
