ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Desert de Oro Foods, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join the team in our Kingman headquarters. This position is in our administrative office and is full-time with full benefits.

We are a large and growing food-franchisee that operates in 7 US States, with Kingman, AZ being home to our administrative offices. We have a dynamic team and are looking for leadership, proficiency and excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

· Compiles, computes and files Sales/Use Tax returns each month

· Compiles data for Bonus results and payout for restaurant operators each period

· Assists in verification of daily cash deposits and credit card activity settlements and related follow-up on any variances

· Performs routine month end closing processes

· Financial analysis reporting on various concerns

· Maintains enterprise contract filing and tickler system

· Assists Accounts Payable with invoice and vendor management

· Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

· Advanced level Excel skills.

· This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

· 3-5 years related Accounting experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour
