Visiting Angels of Boulder County & Westminster is seeking a Human Resources Training and Employment Coordinator to assist us in achieving our mission to honor and enrich the lives of older adults as they gracefully age in place.

The HR Training and Employment Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties including recruitment and on-boarding, training and orientation, employee relations, performance management, leave management, HRIS management, employee engagement and compliance with applicable regulations and requirements, policies and procedures in accordance with, and support of, the mission and values of Visiting Angels.

Home Care or care-giving experience is a plus!

The ideal candidate must have:

• Outstanding interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills;
• demonstrated ability to work independently within interpretive guidelines, take initiative, and perform effectively in fast-paced and constantly changing environment with the ability to “pivot” when necessary;
• effective oral and written communication skills;
• strong attention to detail and high degree of organizational and time management skills;
• excellent responsive customer service focus and great team player;
• high level of skills in handling sensitive and confidential situations/information with the demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality;
• strong working knowledge and experience with MS Office, Google and internet sourcing;
• ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues, and to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with university standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or government laws.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience, required.
• Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems, preferred.
• Experience using and/or managing an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferred.
• Experience in home care or other human service field, preferred.
• One year of recruitment experience, preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour
