We have a tremendous opportunity for an experienced individual to join us in the Midlands Nursing Workforce team supporting delivery of our regional International Nurse Recruitment programme. This roles is full time Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) offered on a substantive basis.

Salary would be pro-rata within the range of £54,764 – £63,862 (depending on previous NHS experience and is the NHS Agenda for Change band 8B) for full time working of 37.5 hours per week.

This is an exciting time to join our team as we deliver an expanding regional programme of International Nurse Recruitment. The role will be varied, enabling the postholder to develop new skills and working in partnership at regional and ICS level. It will also provide an opportunity to bring together subject matter expertise and project management.

Key areas of work will be to;

• Develop key relationships with International Nurse Leads in our Midlands NHS Trusts and Midlands Integrated Care Systems (ICS)
• Support Trusts to deliver their International Nurse recruitment commitments and aspirations, sharing your operational knowledge and expertise
• Attend and lead monthly/bi-monthly meetings with our NHS Trusts and ICS systems to ensure quality oversight and improvement of their International Nurse recruitment programmes
• Work with the team to lead and deliver on a number of projects within our regional International Nurse Recruitment programme. These may include some of the following;
• Adult nurses
• Mental Health nurses
• Nurse refugees
• Paediatric nurses
• Midwives
• Community nurses
• Retaining our internationally recruited nurses
• Provide a facilitative and supportive role to a number of identified Midlands ICS, sharing good practice and encouraging development and expansion of International Nurse recruitment
• Identify and share good practice examples across the region
• Offer solution focussed creativity within the team to support delivery of regional performance targets

Based in the Midlands, the role offers remote working opportunities, with some flexibility in home/office working and hours of work.
