Role Summary Key Responsibilities
Unload inbound material, MRO, and courier shipments – verifying the physical goods and labels match the supplier paperwork and ASN Complete a Receiving Discrepancy Report for any inbound shipment non-conformances Control and coordinate the safe and accurate loading of all supplier returnable containers and any defective product being returned to a supplier Receive all shipments accurately and promptly into TRANS4M via key entry, ASN receipt, or scanning. Ensure any chemical shipments are accompanied by an MSDS sheet Ensure all inbound purchased parts, raw materials, and/or chemicals are put away, stored and located in their proper place De-skid mixed skids or single boxes and store each part in its proper designate location Ensure all safety requirements are observed in material storage areas Audit component storage areas daily to ensure all parts are stored in their correct location Work with production and quality staff on any product moved into component storage areas which do not belong Maintain 5S and cleanliness in all material storage areas Utilize FIFO labels, WMS (warehouse management software) or Manufacturing dates to ensure FIFO (First in, First Out) is observed Troubleshoot any missing or lost material as necessary or requested by Materials staff or Production Supervisors Safely operate forklift and/or reach truck, perform daily pre-shift safety inspections, and re-fuel/re-charge as required Monitor and update truck schedule Ensure compliance to QMS (IATF16949), VEMS (ISO14001), and security (PIP & C-TPAT) requirements Key Qualifications/Requirements
Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, with strong mathematics skills, preferred
Licensed fork lift driver, required
Effective communication, organizational, interpersonal and analytical abilities
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of software in current use
Understanding of lean manufacturing, an asset
May be required to carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, but is not limited to, varying levels of noise and/or temperature. Additional Information
