Talent Acquisition Coordinator

United Kingdom – Location Flexible

6 month contract, with opportunity to become permanent

£23,000 – £29,000 + bonus + benefits

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will own creating an exceptional Mars and recruitment experience for our candidates and hiring managers, by supporting the coordination and execution of the Talent Acquisition process across all segments in the UK.

Specifically, they will:

• Work closely with recruitment team to enhance candidate experience through the recruitment process
• Coordinate candidate initial screen, video/ phone screen and schedule interviews for the talent acquisition team, including panel member schedules
• Manage and file candidate paperwork, including full contract management, offer letters, new hire documents, and background checks

• Build a strong Mars employer reputation throughout the recruitment process
• Effectively use all Talent Acquisition systems, tools, and programs provided by the global Talent Acquisition CoE to ensure alignment with Mars Inc. strategies and roll-up into Mars Talent Acquisition metrics

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Serve as a first point of contact to prospective candidates throughout the requisition process and provide relevant information, driving interview and panel scheduling (both candidate and interviewer)
• Format candidate documentation and applications, owning follow up to candidate questions and supporting candidate communications over the course of the recruiting process
• Liaise with Line Managers throughout the screening and selection process to ensure logistics are well managed, always identifying areas for improvement and communicate suggestions to the team
• Support cross country and segment country TA harmonization and standardization to ensure that the global recruitment process is deployed in alignment with local legal requirements

What are we looking for?

• Minimum qualification: Completed vocational training, preferably in HR or Business Administration
• Preferred qualification: Combination of education and work experience in HR with internal and external candidate contact (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience of administrative roles, ideally within HR
• Strong computer skills, PC with experience in Outlook, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and other applicable Talent Acquisition technologies & software (e.g. ATS systems)
• Experience working in a highly collaborative team environment, with an ability to maintain a positive attitude and composure in a high pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
