The Role & Team

Playing a key role in our business partnering team, you’ll provide high quality financial support to the Aussie Home Loans business and contribute to the partnership between finance and other business areas.

The role will support the Finance team to deliver monthly management reporting in a concise and meaningful manner, as well as support decision making that drives and delivers outcomes of the business’ strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide monthly profit & loss reporting to stakeholders with insight into the numbers
• Provide analytical support and financial modelling as required
• Deliver annual Budget and periodic forecasts in collaboration with the business
• Proactively identifyand deliver continuous improvement
• Partner with the financial accounting team and contribute to overall integrity of financial results and risk culture
• Maintain integrity of reporting systems, ensuring they remain effective and operational at all times.

What you’ll bring:

• A proven track record of capability in a similar role
• Advanced level of Excel & PowerPoint skills
• A confident and articulate communication style, both verbal and written
• A proactive, inquisitive and enthusiastic team player’s attitude
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and follow them through to a logical conclusion
• Strong intellect, high integrity, high quality standards and attention to detail
• Self-motivation and the ability to work within tight deadlines and to a high degree of accuracy
• Accounting degree plus completion of either CPA or CA preferred (2 years PQE) – desirable
• Financial services experience – desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain strong relationships and influence others – desirable
