Luma is on the hunt for a talented and ambitious Recruiting & Talent Coordinator to join the team!
This role will be integral to identifying, sourcing and hiring top level talent globally and assist in the full cycle recruiting process.
They will assist in many tasks such as scheduling interviews and providing candidates with a seamless interview/onboarding process.
This position will report to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and have a dotted line to the Senior Recruiting Manager.
You Can
Source and identify VFX talent
Liaise with the Recruiting team, Hiring Managers and senior management on upcoming needs for the studio
Schedule both Zoom and in-person interviews with hiring managers in multiple time zones across all departments
Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation with the People & Culture team
Post open positions on sites such as LinkedIn and other relevant sites on a weekly basis
Keep recruiting database up to date with relevant and correct information
Conduct reference checks when requested to do so.
Represent Luma at recruiting opportunities such Luma Open Days, school forums, recruiting events etc
Execute recruiting strategies and report back on progress reports on a weekly basis
You Have
2-3 years minimum in the VFX/games/animation industry (particularly in Australia)
Previous recruiting or project coordination experience in VFX /gaming and the post production industry is a plus
Experience working with ATS platforms (especially Lever) & project management tools such as Asana preferred
Strong network on LinkedIn and personal rolodex of VFX artists is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize while meeting multiple deadlines.
Friendly and warm interviewing technique
Outside of the box thinking when related to recruiting strategies is encouraged!
