Job Title: HR Coordinator

Job Location: Portland, TN

Position Description:

The HR Coordinator plays a crucial role in administrative and analytical support to the Plant Manager. It is a versatile role that will be able to support HR, Onboarding, Payroll, Inventory, Shipping & Receiving, as well as, the ability to work in the manufacturing processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Plant Manager
• Analyze production related data looking for trends and providing recommendation to management.
• Manage the ERP systems to ensure accuracy and work to resolve any non-conformance issues.
• Review departmental metrics, work with plant staff and management to fully understand departmental processes.
• Ensure all ARs are investigated in a timely manner.
• Develop and revise departmental procedures, such as, onboarding and training of new hires.
• Run monthly reports.
• Recruit new hires and ensure that the plant is always adequately staffed.
• Create staff schedules in accordance with plant operation needs.
• Reconcile attendance data and submit payroll on a weekly basis.
• Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
• Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, amount of sales or production, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a production environment, with a focus on data collection and analysis.
• Advanced skills using Excel, Outlook, Word and intermediate skills using Access database platforms.
• Intermediate-advanced skills using a database, including running reports and conducting analyses.
• Experience training and coaching others
• Ability to work independently, take initiative to source information and complete tasks
• Proven problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work flexible hours to support the needs of both our 1st and 2nd shift operations.
