PDSA Hiring for Management Accountant Job at Telford, England Full Time

If so, PDSA has a great opportunity for you. We are looking to recruit a temporary Management Accountant, to join our finance team reporting into the Financial Controller for an 8 month period. The location is flexible as the role will be home-based supporting our leaders across the UK.
Management Accountant

• Remote / home based with occasional travel into Telford
• £28,468 – £36,671 (subject to experience) per annum
• 35 hours per week
• Full Time, Temporary (8 month fixed term contract)

The role will be responsible for providing detailed accounting and planning activities for an allocated division, giving commercial and analytical support and collaborating with operational colleagues to help them to understand financial performance and make effective financial decisions. The role will also support the ongoing development of financial planning tools and techniques as well as developing data structures and routines to increase efficiency of processes and reporting whilst ensuring data quality.

About you:
The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, well developed analytical skills and the ability to meet accounting and planning timelines. You will share your expertise through coaching and supporting partners to understand their financial performance data. You will be a Part Qualified Accountant with recognised body (i.e. CIMA, ACCA, AAT) or experience of part of delegated general ledger, period end close process as well as possessing a high degree of excel, data management and experience of automation of tasks in data based routines / processes.
