The Potomac Company Hiring for M&A and Valuation Analyst Job at San Juan, PR Full Time

We are looking for a junior financial analyst to join our mergers & acquisitions and valuation team in San Juan, PR. Our firm is a boutique investment bank that provides M&A and valuation services to firms in Europe, North America and South America.

Compensation and bonus will be based on experience and contribution to the team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in finance and accounting as well as have excellent spoken and written English communication.

As part of the team, you’ll be involved in live M&A transactions from day one working with senior executives around the world. You’ll be trained by former bulge bracket investment bankers and will have an opportunity to rapid progress in a fast-growing advisory firm.

To be eligible for this position you must live in Puerto Rico.

What will you do on a day to day basis?

• Build financial models to value companies
• Do research on the industries in which our clients operate
• Collaborate with the team on research reports on various industries
• Interview our clients on their business operations and financials in order to build a valuation model.
• Support the senior team and participate in prospecting, transaction execution and implementing internal systems.
• Managing relationship with the firm’s channel partners.
• Participate in the M&A transaction process from start to finish.
