Mathnasium of Baton Rouge and Ascension makes a real difference in our students’ lives. Our philosophy revolves around teaching math in a way that makes sense to students. We assess students’ math abilities and create customized learning plans that teach them the next math skills that they need to learn.

We are a growing organization and are looking for a center director to join our team at our learning center in Prairieville. If hired, your top responsibility will be sales and customer service for the parents of our students. You need to be very comfortable calling leads on the phone. You will also manage the learning center, supervise other employees, and — at busy times — help teach our students.

This is an excellent job for a recent college graduate who wants a career in business, or even for a current college student taking a manageable class load who wants to work at least 25 hours per week. You will receive extensive training and support, as well as regular sales bonuses.

Requirements:

• Solid math skills through high-school Algebra I and Geometry

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress

• Satisfaction in working with students and seeing their progress

• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills

• Ability to professionally interact with parents

• Energetic and confident personality

Our learning center is currently open Monday-Thursday from 3:00-8:00 PM, Fridays 3:00-6:30 PM, Saturdays 10:00AM-2:00PM, and Sundays 1:00-5:00 PM, though there are also tasks that can be performed outside of those hours. We are looking for someone who wants to work 25-40 hours per week. In addition to hourly pay, this job will also pay regular sales bonuses, which should average $300-$500 per month.
