Job Title: Part Time Senior Accountant

Summary: The Senior Accountant is responsible for the preparation of journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, monthly system closing, budget analysis, AP and AR and financial statements and commission calculations, Payroll.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Take full responsibility of all aspects of month-end process, able to meet deadline

2. Prepare financial statement and other financial reports in a timely manner

3. Work with CPA firm on tax and accounting issues

4. Building budgets, forecasting for operations team as well as special projects

5. Work to fully execute QuickBooks Online functions in supporting sales and service operations, facilitate the interface transaction Paychex.

6. Record foreign currency transaction in QuickBooks online,

7. Assist in system implementation and enhancing accounting procedures

8. Oversee AP and AR operations, provide guidance and assistance to management.

9. Collaborate with sales and operations team to ensure smooth accounting transactions and provide best support as needed.

10. Take charge of inventory control, facilitate monthly inventory count activities with service and accounting staff.

11. Work with managers to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures

12. Support procurement activities for sales and service teams.

13. Assist with office and team operations in other areas and in various projects.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in inventory control preferred.

2. Thorough understanding of GAAP and Accounting principles

3. Skilled in preparing accurate and complete financial reports from accounting records

4. Advance level QuickBooks online experience,

5. Intermediate to advanced level Excel

6. Strong written and verbal communication skills

7. Outstanding organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks

8. Excellent analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advance knowledge of Word processing software, spreadsheet software, accounting software, inventory software, internet software, order processing systems, project management software, and database software.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university in accounting or finance; or 10+ years Broad range of accounting experience with increasing responsibilities.
