With approximately 150 employees based across EMEIA, Sales Finance is a commercially oriented finance function passionate about value creation, working with the Sales teams to provide outstanding commercial and financial support. ROLE OVERVIEW This role is responsible for managing the Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) Region Sales and Marketing OPEX.

This includes the monthly OPEX forecasting process, understanding and articulating the reasons behind key spends and variances. Overseeing approval of OPEX spend and purchase requisitions. Involvement in the close process, booking quarter end close entries, reviewing actuals, providing commentary and working alongside leadership to size up risks and opportunities to support investment decision making. Key Qualifications Strong relationship building and communication skills, at all levels of the organisation. Ability to articulate understanding of sales commercial business and offer solutions based advice to problems. Excellent business support & analytical skills. Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong reporting and forecasting system skills. Experience with Essbase/Hyperion would be desirable. Experience in financial planning, analytics and cost control biased position. High standard of planning and organising skills.

Experience of working as part of a robust team. Pro-active, “Can Do” attitude, understanding that taking the initiative is important. Ability to prioritise workload and respond quickly to urgent requests for information. Description – Partner with FP&A leadership and business leads to develop annual and quarterly financial targets.

• Own the OPEX P&L forecasting processes, understanding and commenting on key spends and variances. – Working with colleagues across the EMEIA region to ensure in-depth commentary and taking ownership of the forecast. – Business partnering with EMEIA leadership and US central teams to understand risks and opportunities in forecasts and engage in conversations around investment opportunities. – Reviewing and approving purchase requisitions to ensure alignment with budget and compliance with internal policies.
• Own the close process, booking quarter end close entries, reviewing actuals to ensure correct accounting treatment is in place and providing commentary on any variances. Education & Experience Degree and/or MBA preferred with backing of professional accounting qualification.
