In this role, you will communicate clearly with guests and staff while supporting a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a hotel and resort environment.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, guest floor corridors, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, assisting with visitor direction, credential checks, and/or reporting suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Support hotel operations during high-traffic periods, special events, and/or after-hours activity by maintaining a visible presence and providing courteous assistance consistent with location expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
