Master Machine Builder

The successful candidate will be joining our team at our newly built state-of-the art facility in North Waterloo.
Job Role:
The Master Machine Builder is responsible for building, testing and setting up automated, multi-station machines.
Responsibilities:
· Assemble new machines to supplied mechanical designs and specifications.
· Test and troubleshoot new machines as required.
· Operate various manual machines, including lathe, milling machines and surface grinders when required.
· Lead projects during the manufacturing process.
· Travel internationally to customer sites to setup machines.
Qualifications:
· Machine Builder, Millwright, Tool and Die Maker or equivalent.
· Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience building custom multi-station automated machines.
· Ability to manufacture components to 0.0002” tolerances when required
· Ability to read/interpret drawings, specifications and tolerances accurately
· Good communication skills
· Good organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work as a team member and individually with minimum supervision
· Ability to manage multiple tasks
· Must have own tools
· Must have a valid passport and driver’s license and be willing to travel internationally when required
· Experience with pneumatics.
