Your Job

The Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging Education Content Designer is an essential member of the team and reports to the Manager of Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging Education. You will work closely with Indeed’s Employee Development and DI&B Business Partner teams to create content that drives the organization toward progress on Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging goals.

As a DI&B Education Content Designer you will design, develop, and implement DI&B focused training solutions for all functions.


Responsibilities:
  • Effectively establish relationships with cross-functional partners, including those without a training background, collaborating on shared initiatives to drive business outcomes.
  • Independently lead design and delivery of learning experiences for a global audience.
  • Align learning objectives, content, and assessments with DI&B goals.
  • Design user-centered learning experiences supported by adult learning theory.
  • Create evidence-based designs by conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Design program evaluation strategies to measure efficacy and inform iteration.
  • Partner with subject-matter experts to create clear and effective content
  • Develop visually appealing, interactive training materials using eLearning authoring tools and Indeed’s LMS.


Who You Are


Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of authority in adult learning theory and learning design methodologies. Including understanding of designing accessible content using Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1)
  • 3+ years professional experience in designing and developing learning experiences, in roles such as instructional designer, learning experience designer, learning architect, or similar.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space

    • Awareness of macro and micro DI&B topics such as systems of oppression, social power dynamics, racial consciousness and ability to dismantle systemic inequities

Skills
  • Skilled in eLearning and video/audio tools such as Adobe CC, Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, Captivate, InDesign, or Elucidat.
  • Skilled in using learning management systems. Able to design to learning industry standards (SCORM/AICC/xAPI/etc.).
  • Skilled in survey and assessment design. Can evaluate learning programs at multiple levels.
  • Skillful in building and maintaining productive working relationships with subject-matter experts and design colleagues. Able to influence without authority.

Not required but a plus
  • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research and analysis methods.
  • Proficiency in visual and user interface design.
  • Language proficiency in French, German, Japanese, or Dutch.

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.


Salary Range Transparency

Austin 58,000 – 75,000 USD per year
