– We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service and meticulous attention to detail and good general availability to work to be games hosts at Enigma Scunthorpe, Scunthorpe’s only Live Escape Game!

– Applicants must be able to work regularly at our busiest times (weekends and evenings, and must be available all day on the vast majority of Saturdays).

– Applicants must be 18+. We will recently be expanding our business to meet popular demand so we require extra staff to facilitate this.

– You will greet guests as they arrive, brief them before their game, and support them throughout their game by sending clues and talking to them if required to ensure they have an outstanding experience during their visit.

– Excellent customer service is an absolute must for this role, so we are looking for someone warm, friendly and outgoing and fun. Ensuring our customers have an amazing experience is our number 1 priority. We have superb reviews so having the right person to maintain and develop our excellent reputation is extremely important to us.

– You must also have meticulous attention to detail, as you will prepare all the puzzles and props within in the game to be used by the customers, and reset the room perfectly after a game has been played in preparation for the arrival of the next guests.

– You will also be required to undertake other general housekeeping duties.

– You must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy and honest. Y

– You will have experience in a directly customer facing role.

– As the right personality is very important to the role, it will be a 2 stage application process. First of all we need your CV. Then, if selected for the next stage, you will be required to come for an interview and a task to determine your suitability for the role.

– Hours will be on a casual basis by negotiation of availability for when bookings have been made. The right candidate must have good general availablity, especially evenings and weekends, but someone with good daytime availability would be advantage (this may suit someone who works flexibly or part-time from home).

– Weekday hours are likely to be less than on weekends. The pay will be £10 per hour with a pay review in 12 months. Progression opportunities may be available later for the right candidates.
