Battery Cells Mfg, Hiring for Sr. Finance Analyst – Korean Bilingual Job at Troy, MI Full Time

The Company is a joint venture that will mass-produce battery cells for electric vehicles.

Position Overview

The Company seeks a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for collecting and studying financial and operational data to analyze the profitability of business, extracting and defining relevant information. The candidate will dig into complex datasets to analyze trends and translate them into actionable insights for continuous process/profitability improvements. This role also will communicate with cross-functional teams and individuals within the Company as well as with the the corporate HQ on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Manage Cashflow (analysis and forecast), Bank accounts, and borrowing schedules
• Execute daily/weekly/monthly payments, closing reconciliations, FX trades, etc.
• Research and confirm all outstanding AP payment-related issues; track payments and update daily bank balance information
• Reconcile HQ reports after daily/month’s-end closings
• Communicate with commercial banks/form relationships with commercial banks
• Update and maintain accurate banking information and documentation
• Perform due diligence for borrowing and manage documentation
• Perform variance analyses to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations for Management and operations
• Create one-time and recurring reports as needed for internal usage
• Handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
• Meet deadlines and use the ability to prioritize and be an effective team member
• Develop modeling tools to measure financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and supporting strategic initiatives
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures, products, and working capital
• Assist in preparing forecasts, collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Assist departmental personnel with budget questions, proper expenditure coding, document processing, and other accounting-related activities
• Assist in compiling and providing PBC information to internal and external auditors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 5+ years of experience in a corporate finance and/or financial analysis
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong analytical, financial-modeling, and reporting skills
• Excellent time management and organizational ability
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail
• Bilingual in English and Korean
• Knowledge in the manufacturing industry, a plus
• SAP experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
