Job Summary
To provide a customer focused HR generalist service and support to client base at Abbey Park and overseas stakeholders.
To provide first line advice to employees on internal HR policies and management of the HR Inbox and to ensure that the HR administrative processes for employees in the UK and Ireland are carried out in a timely and accurate manner taking into consideration both our internal and external customers and associated processes and procedures.
To act as the first line support and offer advice on Employee Relations cases. For example, advice to line manager, administration support on absence, probation and capability processes.
Follow the current processes and procedures for all administrative activities and to ensure that the department is compliant with these internal processes, GDPR and in receipt of all the required documentation.
Administration support to create and administer DB and DC Pensions scheme plus all supporting regulatory and legislative requirements. Create systems which will support the Pensions Manager and the Trustees, develop effective filing and retrieval system (both manual and digital) to include Agreements, Invoices, Investment Fund Manager Agreements and reports in preparation for Pensions Meetings.
Duties will include:
Email management for the central HR inbox and advising on all HR policy and queries.
Deliver the new starter employee induction and the Discover AGCO event
Probationary review letters, process and follow up with managers if any action needs to be taken.
References (current employees and leavers), long service award letters.
Raising SRM requests for invoice processing
Drafting HR Communications ie. People in the news announcements, new policy communications, pension communications and other communications as requested by UKLT and HR team.
Working with the Talent Management lead to support training activities, supporting all training administration
Assist the HR Business Partner in Compensation and Benefits activities, assisting with the Cyclical events
To support the Head of HR as and when required
Updating the employee Hub (starters/leavers and keeping content fresh) Administering the yearly events and other benefits; Holiday Trading, Cycle to Work
Administration process for recruitment, including adding employee requisitions, preparing job offer forms, offer letters, contracts of employment, on-boarding initiation and adding to ADP. Collecting and verifying right to RTW documents. Sending out the internal weekly vacancy notice.
Preparing paperwork for internal moves/promotions.
Administering the leavers process, exit interviews and associated activities
Absence administration – checking, chasing Fit Notes and RTW and referring on as appropriate
Offer ad hoc support to the team picking up additional and varied tasks depending on workloads. i.e Payroll audit
Create a DB & DC filing system – alphabetical, chronological, manual and digital
Meeting material planning – create hard copy pack or electronic copy presentations for Pension Manager
Support requests from pension members on pension queries
ARC – Pensions planning platform – administer the system
Bank of NY scheme documentation (sift quick fix, versus deeper information required) delay means tax being applied at standard rate rather than reduced or nil rate
Insurance documentation – policies, life assurance DB and DC to be stored confidentially – insurance, premium period, planning and management of insurance material
Support GDPR requirements – third party interaction and agreements and electronic file management -working within the compliance regulations

Previous HR Advisor and administration experience is essential
CIPD (Level 3 or 5) qualified would be desirable
Previous Employee Relations experience would be desirable
Previous Pensions Administration experience would be desirable
Team player and highly motivated self starter
Good systems skills and report writing
High level of accuracy
