Your new company

A client with diverse businesses cluster is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant for a 6-month assignment, with a view to extend. They are located in South of the river, and they want the right candidate to start immediately.

Your new role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Month end processes
• Preparing and producing Financial Reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasts
• Compiling the annual budget
• Supporting in the implementation of a new accounting system
• Preparing BAS and GST returns
• Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Other ad-hoc accounting duties

What you’ll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to work autonomously
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Proficient in Ms Excel and accounting systems
