The DoorDash Recruiting Team is focused on building DoorDash culture, one quality hire at a time. We partner with hiring teams to design and execute recruiting strategies that enable DoorDash to hire exceptional talent in the most efficient and unbiased ways.

About the Role

This role will oversee a team of 25+ engineering recruiters and managers who support hiring across our product engineering teams. You’ll own the strategy and execution across several key engineering teams and work directly with several Directors of Engineering. You will report into the Director of Engineering Recruiting in our People organization.

• Create and execute against quarterly hiring goals to build out the engineering teams you directly support
• Partner directly with several key engineering leaders to communicate progress, strategies, challenges, and mitigations against their hiring plans
• Manage a team of managers who oversee 20 recruiters
• Help iterate on our engineering hiring processes to ensure we have an efficient and fair interview process

We’re excited about you because…

• 8+ years of direct people management experience leading a team of at least 20 people
• Specific background in engineering hiring
• Prior experience working dirty with Director+ stakeholders
• You have mastered successful pipeline management using an ATS (Greenhouse experience strongly preferred)
• You’re metrics driven – you utilize data to help drive your decisions
• You’re an owner – driven, focused, and quick to take ownership of your work
• You’re humble – you’re willing to get into the details and you’re open to feedback
• You’re adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in ambiguity – things change quickly in our fast-paced startup
• You’re growth-minded – eager to expand your skill set and excited to carve out your career path in a hyper-growth setting
• You have a desire for impact – ready to take on a lot of responsibility and work collaboratively with your team
