Seven West Media Hiring for Junior Finance Systems Analyst Job at Sydney Full Time

A new and exciting opportunity has opened for a Junior Finance Systems Analyst to join the Seven Finance team. This role is responsible for the administration and stable operation of SWM’s TechnologyOne (T1) product, while ensuring system controls are in place and monitored.
Based in Eveleigh and reporting to the Enterprise Relationship Manager (ERP), you’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting in administration and maintenance of financial systems.
• Assisting in maintaining and supporting Technology One (T1) Enterprising Budgeting Model, budgeting rollover (yearly) and forecasting rollover (monthly)
• Providing advice and troubleshoot accounting double entries, inter-entity transaction, contra entries, accrual and prior period journals
• Roll over accounting periods
• Assisting in maintaining T1 Finance System user accounts, security and profiles.
• Assisting in chart account creation and maintanance in financial system.
• Providing a timely resolution of issues and requests raised by end users and external groups when required
• Trouble-shooting Excel/SQL spreadsheets and reports
• Assisting in the roll out of various corporate application enhancements including coordinate User acceptance testing, Development of user documentation, standards and procedures and Provide training support

We are looking for someone who has:

• Knowledge and understanding of the various financial processes and modules, including General Ledger, AP, AR, Assets, Banking and Purchasing in order to support user queries
• General knowledge of accounting principles
• ERP systems experience (Technology One or similar medium sized ERP system will be an advantage) with accounting/finance background
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in finance system support environment
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and trouble-shooting skills
• Experience creating business intelligent report
