We are a small Part-Time Finance Director (and Accounts Department Management) service, seeking a new Part Time Finance Director to join our trendy team.

Work assignments may be located at the client’s offices or virtually, depending on the client request. It is our preference to work from the clients location, when possible.

The role will vary by client, but typically entails:

« Attending and Presenting at Monthly Board Meetings (to owners and investors)

« Preparing and Delivering Monthly Finance Management Reports and Packs

« Overseeing the Accounts Dept, Bookkeeping, and all related Processes

« Ensuring the accuracy and correct accounting treatment of the accounts (monthly)

« Implementing or recommending process improvements and efficiency gains

« Supporting the CEO and Management Team with Budgets and Forecasts and any relevant Support

« Cashflow Management and Forecasting

« Business Partnering

« Data Analysis and Recommendations

« Liaising with external Bookkeepers, Payroll Clerks, R&D Claims and Statutory Accountants, et cetera

We’re initially seeking someone to work circa 4 to 8 days per month. The number of days and dates worked may vary from month to month. There is the option to work more or less days to suit your lifestyle.

You may find you work the majority of the days through the beginning to middle of each month, with a potentially free week at the end.

The chosen candidate must:

« Be fully qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA

« Have at least 10 years of experience working in Accounts Departments

« Have at least 3 years of experience of reporting into boards

« Have excellent inter-personal and communication skills

« Have the ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines

« Be able to manage people and the overall Finance Function that you will oversee

« Have a high standard of Xero, Quickbooks and Excel skills

« Experience of Futrli will be a bonus

This is an employment position. The successful candidate will receive a salary, a pension, 28 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) pro rata, plus we will neutralise your full carbon footprint with a monthly donation to Ecologi.

Salary of £200 per day. Salaried Employee. Holiday and Pensions in addition.
