We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-orientated Corporate Accountant to join the finance team based in the heart of Surfers Paradise in our Corporate Office. You will ideally hold a relevant degree in Accounting and/or Finance, and working towards CPA/CA accrediation.

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Accountant, your day-to-day role will include;

• Perform bank reconciliation
• Process end of month accruals
• Raise monthly invoices
• Central expense distribution
• Balance Sheet reconciliation
• Assist with P&L review
• Liase with department General Managers
• Management of Corporate Fixed Asset Registers and Reports
• Complete GST Reconciliations for the Head Office entities
• Intercompany loan reconciliations
• Foreign exchange entries and reconciliation of foreign entity loans
• Provide guidance to finance department shared services staff
• Assistance during audits
• Ad hoc reporting and project tasks as required

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• A relevant degree in accounting or finance, working towards CPA or CA qualifications
• Minimum of 4 years commercial accounting experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience being proactive essential, along with the ability to build relationships
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong desire to learn
• Experience using Dynamics GP an advantage
• Intermediate Excel skills
