Title: Staff Accountant

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $65,000 – $90,000

High end consumer products company is looking for a talented Accountant to join their team!

Responsibilities:

· Comprehensive understanding of GAAP accounting and best practices

· Internet savvy Analytical skills

· Inventory management with a special focus on inventory receipts

· Accounting best practices including but not limited to invoicing, purchasing, reconciliation, fixed assets, auditing, general ledger journaling and month/year-end closing

· Real Estate Accounting Duty adjustment Prepaid Expenses Payroll Accounting

· Corporate credit card user account maintenance and support

· Sales tax with a special focus on sales tax returns and tax related subjects Superior attention to detail

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelors in Accounting

· 2+ years related professional experience corporate and/or public accounting environment CPA certification preferred but not required

· Microsoft Office Suite – Superior Excel skills and Dynamics

· Math skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
