About this position:

The City is currently seeking an energetic individual with fresh ideas and a proactive approach to management and financial accounting.

You will be required to lead the completion of the annual budget and financial report. You need to have strong leadership skills to ensure the Finance team is operating efficiently and effectively. Extensive experience in preparing budgets and financial statements is required.

The role liaises with all areas of the City directly and therefore you will have proven communication and interpersonal skills and a well-developed analytical ability to provide financial advice in a complex organisation.

Essential requirements:

• National Police clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Qualifications from a professional accounting body e.g. CPA or CA.
• Experience with Technology One software is not essential but desirable.
