As a key member of the Consumer Products, Games & Publishing (CPGP) EMEA FP&A team, the teams’ main responsibilities are:

• Assist in the smooth running of FP&A processes within team and across local markets.
• Provide day to day commercial support, reporting and analytics to Business leads.

Responsibilities:

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

FP&A:

• Support the Finance Manager in the smooth running of key FP&A cycles and ad hoc requests (Forecast, Accrual, AOP, 5YP) for Global/ Regional & Local Toy partners.
• Ensure licensee forecasts are received, checked for accuracy and discussed with the relevant Category teams. Drive forecast loads and system validations.
• Partner with the Finance Manager and the rest of the team to improve efficiency in processes and share best practice.
• Assist in the preparation of the Forecast/ AOP and Accrual presentations to support Senior Management and Commercial Leads

Commercial Support

• Support Toys Category Directors/ Managers on overarching and category specific strategies to grow key accounts and streamline tail.
• Provide analytics and support to assist the wider commercial teams with business plan finalisation, contract renewals, other revenue opportunities (e.g shortfall situations and audit issues).
• Assist business leads with timely and relevant reporting on the performance of the business / franchise and licensees.
• Share insights on Toys market & competitor performance to identify scalable opportunities and influence strategic decisions.
• Support on project work and lead on ad hoc requests where required.

Team Management

• Assist in the management and development of FA and Intern through mentoring.
• Lead by example to ensure collaborative approach with other teams including FP&A, SLs / FMCG, VWA, RA and CMC.

Basic Qualifications:

The Experience We Require From You:

• Degree level essential and Accounting qualified
• Knowledge and understanding of Consumer Products business along with firm grasp of CPC / FP&A systems, policies and processes.
• Demonstrable track record of providing commercial support and analysis to business partners that’s insightful, timely and responsive
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, tailored to all levels of the organisation
• Numerate and analytical with a desire to think through and resolve problems.
• Results focused and outcome driven.
