About the role

The West Moreton Health Service is offering an exciting opportunity to join the Management Accounting Team, in the Finance and Business Solutions Division, Located in Ipswich. The position provides an efficient and effective finance focused administrative service to accounting staff within the Management Accounting team.

Accountabilities of this role include:

• Assist with end of month reporting and financial requirements.
• Assist with the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the divisional budget.
• Preparation of invoices for processing both supplier and customer.
• Daily financial administrative activities as well as general administrative support for the team.
• Coordinate and maintain work procedures for the role and contribute towards the development and review of procedures within the team.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

• Ability to undertake administrative and finance functions
• Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills in a complex and diverse environment.
• High level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
• High level attention to detail ensuring accuracy and completeness of work provided Analytical abilities or the ability to acquire knowledge to enable problem solving, analysis and assist in the identification of key issues to be addressed to progress the achievement of Divisional business objectives.
• Intermediate level skills in the application of computerised information systems to enable the development and analysis of meaningful reports Key capability from the RD
• Whilst not mandatory financial qualifications would be highly regarded.
