Abnes Freshmarket is a local grocer, with natural & organic produce and also provides healthy food options for its customers. We are located in Concord (Vaughan), ON, at the intersection of Keele Street & Rutherford Road.

Responsibilities (Grocery Store Associate Manager):

• Be available to work 40 hours per week over 7 days a week, Monday – Sunday, including weekends and holidays. Including opening and closing of shifts.
• Scheduling of staff to ensure optimal levels of staffing at all times

• Leading by example and creating a positive & inclusive culture
• Address and resolve all customer complaints using company escalation process
• Effectively support, train and coach the team by providing huddles for operational procedures, product knowledge, updates on company policies and ensure adherence to Health and Safety protocols
• Ensure the expiration and rotation of products are maintained within company policies and quality standards
• Excellent organization, interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to learn and train others in company equipment operations & software tools & procedures
• Support in store opening and closing procedures
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety standards while using all store equipment and facilities
• Other duties as assigned
