To provide expert advice and high-quality administrative support for the Trust’s appraisal and revalidation process for consultants and doctors in non-training posts.
To work as a member of the Medical Education Team.
To work as a member of the Medical Education team to provide high quality administrative support to the delivery of medical education in the Trust, therefore contributing to supporting the delivery of patient care within the Trust. Duties include the organisation and promotion of courses, examinations and conferences. The post holder will facilitate the curriculum delivery process including the approval of claims through the e-expenses system, and will support the administration of the appraisal and revalidation process for consultants and non-training grade doctors working in the Trust.
The successful applicant will have regular exposure to confidential material and will require a high level of professionalism, discretion and integrity in dealing with internal and external contacts in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills are essential along with the ability to work independently, using your own initiative whilst having the ability to work as part of a team and interact with staff at all levels. Attention to detail is a must and the post holder will be expected to have proven high-quality IT skills and a keen eye for detail and accuracy. On occasions it may be necessary to work out of hours to support events taking place.
