Title: Management Accountant

Work location: Perth, WA

Roster: 5:2 Roster

Fortescue Future Industries is seeking a highly motivated Management Accountant to join a fast paced, dynamic working environment in a position that will offer the successful candidate exposure across our green energy, manufacturing and R&D technology teams.

The role will report directly to the Commercial Principal and will be responsible for ensuring delivery of all management and financial reporting obligations to meet critical reporting timeframes.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Partner with Industry teams to deliver optimal financial outcomes
• Month end processes, analysis and reporting to a tight timeline
• Working closely with leaders to provide financial insight critical to decision-making
• Responsibility for accuracy, transparency and analysis of departmental costs
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Streamlining, automation and improvement of core Finance processes and activities
• Identification of improvement and value-add opportunities
• Empowerment and coaching of teams in financial skills and confidence

Qualifications and skills required:

• CA/CPA/CIMA recent qualification or currently in progress
• 3+ years management accounting experience, preferably within a mining or manufacturing environment
• Anaplan and SAP experience and advanced MS Excel skills will be highly regarded
• Confident interpersonal style and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellence
