Unite Private Networks Hiring for Financial Analyst Job at Kansas City, MO Full Time

UPN is currently looking for a Financial Analyst located in Kansas City, MO. The candidate will play a key role in supporting the business decision-support needs of UPN by providing moderate to complex analysis on a regular and ad-hoc basis and preparing management reporting. The Financial Analyst will regularly interact throughout the business, including with all levels of management.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Analyze trends in key performance indicators – financial and non-financial – and provide insights that directly influence business decision-making.
• Assist with pricing and decisioning deals, business case analysis, scenario analysis, and business change opportunities.
• Preparation of regular reporting packages, including operational metrics and performance against targets, quotas, and budget.
• Support the overall monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning activities of the business.
• Analyze monthly results against budgets and forecasts across all areas of financial performance, including revenue, costs, operating expenses, and capital spending. Communicate results to management.
• Provide ad-hoc financial modeling, decision-support, and scenario analysis in support of the business as required.
• Routinely communicate with manager related to assignments, specific issues, and deliverables.
• Use sound judgement to recommend areas for improvement and assist efforts to enhance the reporting and analytical infrastructure.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirement for the position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• 1-3 years’ experience in accounting/financial analysis/financial management; base knowledge of Finance and Accounting.
• Ability to grasp understanding of business models and key drivers quickly and independently.
• Strong relationship-builder – ability to communicate effectively and establish partnerships throughout the business.
• Team and customer service oriented.
• Highly analytical and curious to learn.
• Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified.
• Demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Office Suite. High proficiency with Excel, including advanced functions like queries, pivot tables, v-lookup, and index/match.
• Ability to drive insights to the business using data; have a working knowledge (or eagerness to learn) data analytics tools like Jet and PowerBI.
• Exhibit executive presence and an ability to influence others.
• Attention to detail, balanced with an ability to focus on what matters/is most impactful.
