Charles River CFO Hiring for Controller CPA (Part time / Remote) Job at Massachusetts Full Time

Charles River CFO is looking for a Fractional Controller to join our team and provide strategic accounting services to our portfolio of clients. This is a great opportunity to join an established firm and work on a flexible schedule as a part-time Controller for multiple companies. You set the number of hours you would like to work and the majority of the work can be done remotely.. Our client portfolio includes companies in life sciences/biotech, high technology, manufacturing, professional services, and nonprofit industries.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance

• CPA preferred

• Previous Life Sciences/Biotech, Hitech or Nonprofit experience preferred

• Minimum of 10 years’ of experience in Finance/Accounting

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and advanced knowledge of Excel

• Experience in QuickBooks is required and a variety of systems is preferred

• Tech-Savvy, comfortable learning new cloud tools

• Experience using payroll, expense reimbursement and bill pay systems

• Understanding of GAAP accounting

• Working knowledge of tax filings such as 1099s and sales tax forms

• Excellent communication skills

• Detail oriented and highly organized

• Commitment to providing excellent client service
