Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is the lead agency of the NSW Transport cluster. The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager HR Policy to join our growing HR Policy team, which is charged with developing and implementing new corporate HR policies, strategies and procedures across Transport, which are consistent with legislative requirements and industrial agreements, as well as balancing the individual needs of each entity within Transport.
Reporting to the Senior Manager HR Policy, you will be responsible for developing and aligning HR policies and procedures across the agencies to ensure that they support business objectives and are consistent with government policy, legislative and industrial requirements. The role works closely with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve major performance and productivity improvement goals and to resolve issues and impediments to simplifying policies and procedures across the agencies.
The role also assists in the development and implementation of HR policy and governance frameworks, and provides subject matter expertise on priority projects.

About you
We are looking for a passionate individual who has a strong policy background, including exposure to HR policy and procedures. You possess people leadership skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively, and facilitate engagement and consultation with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels. You also demonstrate a high level of innovative, analytical, conceptual and problem solving ability.
You are driven by implementing positive change in an organisation, and you are looking for an opportunity to bring teams together in a cohesive way, driving engagement, and optimising processes and frameworks that have vision.
Salary and Benefits
This position is a Transport Service Grade 9A ($138,670) – 9E ($155,309) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
