Adecco Creative and Marketing Hiring for DIGITAL COPYWRITER – Beauty Brand – $38-$42/HR at New York, New York Full Time

Adecco Creative & Marketing is recruiting for a digital copywriter with SEO know-how for a very popular, American cosmetics company!

In this role you will, 

• Conceptualize, write, and edit e-commerce content including promotional emails, product copy (long descriptions and bullet points), website copy, banner ads, SEO copy, special projects, and more 
• Research keywords and phrases, then incorporate them into content to boost the site’s search enging ranking
• Refine and deliver on brand promise, tone, voice, and personality within content deliverables
• Work closely with designer to align copy with visuals
• Collaborate with site merchandisers and product development to identify topic opportunities for emerging content and trends within the industry
• Independently brainstorm content ideas, then pitch them to the team
• Partner with product development team to identify new product claims to incorporate into digital content.
• Work with project manager to deliver copy in accordance with business needs and on deadline
• Leverage web analytics, customer insights, and user feedback to optimize content impact
• Adhere to brand guidelines to maintain content standards
• Work with Legal to ensure content is in compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or Communications
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of writing ecommerce copy and content
• 3 – 5 years of SEO experience optimizing ecommerce content with a strong knowledge of best practices 
• Experience writing ecommerce content for one or more DTC brands
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge and use of SEO tools like Google Analytics
• Knowledge of SEO best-practices and keyword strategies
• Detail-oriented and organized
• A strong portfolio of digital copywriting that you can reference
• Ability to work both within a team and independently
• Ability to work with international teams in various timezones
• Experience working in beauty preferred
