About the Role

• The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will be a strategic and operational partner to the General Manager, supporting managers and teams in the achievement of operational targets through effective people management strategies, such as recruitment, retention, workforce planning and coaching middle and frontline leaders.
• Work collaboratively with other HRBPs and with the central HR team in Sydney, the role has a professional responsibility to the Chief HR Officer
• Provide expert advice and support in relation to complex people management practices including managing underperformance, disciplinary process, workplace grievances and investigations, conflict management and compliance breaches.
• Provide accurate technical advice on Employee Relation matters, including awards, employment related legislations, policy and process.
• Assist with change management process to improve workplace culture
• Maintain key workforce metrics, such as turnover rate, time to fill, to assist in operational planning and identify areas of improvement.

Essential criteria:

• Sound experience in a Human Resources Business Partner/Senior Advisory role
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
• In-depth knowledge of the Employment legislation and demonstrated ability to apply these to a broad range of HR issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with people across all levels of the organisation
• A background in health or social care would be highly regarded
• Satisfactory background check, including NDIS Worker Check
