Software Engineers (Full Stack and C#) £55k – £60k (pro rata) dependent on experience. Fully remote working with occasional visits to see the team. Full Time & Part Time opportunities are available.

The team operates as a full stack team within a fully agile environment. Core skills within the team are C#, .NET Core, MVC, Microservices, RESTful APIs, Webhooks, Agile, Cloud/AWS/Azure, Javascript, SQL. A passion for quality is essential as we’re all about customer satisfaction. Our Engineers work on multiple teams and different project areas, and some flexibility and rotation between teams is expected to broaden our knowledge and skills.

Areas where we are expanding our team include:

• Integrating with numerous APIs
• Building back-end services
• Further developing our own API
• Continuously improving our existing codebase for greater testability and reliability
• Green field development on analytics
• Optimising performance and building scalable solutions
• Building new UI, and improving usability and design
• Responsive mobile applications

We also prioritise continuous learning and sharing of new technology across our Engineering teams.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing, building and maintaining efficient, reusable and reliable code to meet client objectives
• Delivering services within a micro-services environment
• Deploying services to cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments
• Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with back-end logic
• Sharing knowledge and mentoring team members
• Inputting on ways to improve procedures and systems, including process development, software deployment and reporting
• Monitoring adherence and output
• Implementing security and data protection measures for web applications
• Unit tests, integration tests, code reviews and refactoring
• Assessing and improving site/software performance
• Working alongside stakeholders to create solutions

What you’ll bring to the role:

• A broad range of experience gained from working in several companies – SaaS/ eCommerce an advantage
• High attention to detail around coding quality
• Demonstrable server-side C# development experience
• .Net Core exposure/experience
• Microservices
• RESTful APIs
• Cloud (AWS/Azure)
• Database knowledge
• SOLID principles
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Git repositories
• SQL

Desirable:

• Computer Science degree or similar
• CI/CD (Jenkins, Bamboo or BitBucket Pipelines)
• Front-end experience (Angular)
