Robert Half Hiring for Controller Job at West Hollywood, CA Full Time

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a hands-on small company Controller consultant to support our non-profit client in West Hollywood (on-site) for a 3-month engagement. This person will report into the Director of Finance and have full oversight of day-to-day general ledger accounting operations, treasury operations, and financial reporting. In addition to overseeing the senior accountant and A/P specialist, responsibilities are expected to include, but are not limited to, managing the month-end close calendar and preparing financial statements, ensuring reconciliations are done with accuracy and efficiency, approving A/P activities and bank reconciliations, fixed assets management, receivables, cash reconciliations and forecasting, fund accounting, and any ad hoc support for auditors or leadership. The ideal Controller consultant will bring an enthusiasm for hands-on accounting management and ability to thrive in a small dynamic team.

Non-profit industry experience highly preferred

Previous experience overseeing general ledger and accounting operations functions

Blackbaud system experience preferred

Strong written and verbal communication

Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

Willingness to work on-site (West Hollywood)
