Responsibilities (include But Are Not Limited To):

• This is a full-time position January thru April and flexible part-time (24 – 32 hours) May thru December
• Prepare S-corporation, partnership, single-member LLC, C-corporation, non-profit and individual tax returns
• Prepare and file annual 1099 forms
• Preparing/Gathering/Organizing and accurately entering data into the tax software
• Reviewing tax returns
• Communicate directly with the customer as needed
• Document customer Interactions
• Will interact with customers utilizing good written and verbal skills as well as customer empathy
• Tax scenario planning and strategy consulting
• Business formation and set up services
• Working well with others to maintain our positive work environment

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of tax-accounting experience
• Knowledge of tax systems, preferably UltraTax
• Proficient with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
• Knowledge of business and individual income tax law, tax concepts
• PTIN required
• Good customer service skills
• Strong Research skills and the ability to quickly use online resources to find answers
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to evaluate and prioritize workload while meeting tight deadlines
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Team oriented, attentive to detail, good analytical skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
