Baltic apprenticeships are delighted to be partnering up with the Perinatal Institute to find them the perfect apprentice to join their team. The Perinatal Institute is a national not-for-profit organisation set up to enhance the safety and quality of maternity care. It is a qualified provider of maternity support services, including education and training in standardised maternity records, fetal growth assessment, and perinatal audit.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Working with front-end development using JavaScript and HTML
• Working with back-end development using PHP
• Unit testing
• Supporting with existing software: C#, Python, and AWS development
• Writing code and database connections

Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by both Baltic Apprenticeships and Perinatal Institute.

Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge:

• Problem solver
• A keen interest and willingness to learn
• Passionate about a career in software development
• Organised
• Grade 4/C GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English Language is required

Salary, Hours & Holidays:

• Annual wage of £9000
• Monday to Thursday, 8 am – 5:30 pm
• Hybrid role: Tuesday & Wednesday office-based/ Monday & Thursday working from home
• 25 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays
• Company pension

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the program. You, along with your employer, may decide to progress into a full-time position with the business or progress onto a Level 4 Apprenticeship.
