In order to maintain our high standards we need to bolster the team and therefore need a Finance Administrator to support the general day to day banking process. You will join our friendly and supportive team who have a passion for what they do and enjoy the pace and challenge that is part of being a Cashier at Nisbets. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a move into the Finance team as you will gain a good broad understanding of the daily and monthly processes. We anticipate offering this on a 3-6 month secondment basis.

• Maintaining and keeping the bank accounts up to date on a daily basis

• Dealing with cash and card queries / variances in a timely manner seeking a swift resolution

• Banking of customer cheques and accurate allocation on the ledger

• Speedy escalation of any payment / refund problems to manager

• Experience of working in a Finance function and understanding of general accounting principles will be useful, but not essential
• Good level of computer literacy on Microsoft Office packages- Excel skills to an intermediate level
• Good general education including Maths and English (GCSE standard)
• Strong communicator with a customer centric approach to problem solving
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and work at pace
