About the Role

Based in Australia, this role is responsible for general talent & culture activities across two Accor business units, ResDiary and Accor Plus. This role will be responsible for general administration, support recruitment, performance management, employee engagement activities, onboarding and offboarding, payroll & benefits and learning & development.

This is a permanent part time role initially working up to 38 hours a week, then from mid 2022 you will work approximately 20-25 hours on an ongoing basis, with the ability to flex hours as the business requires and to suit you. You will need to be flexible with the hours you are available to meet the needs of our team members in the UK time zone.

This role will work remotely from home (WFH). Depending on the location of the successful candidate you may also work from one of our local offices on an ad-hoc basis.

Primary Responsibilities

This role is a standalone T&C generalist for the ResDiary Australia New Zealand team. The position will provide a valuable service to our internal team members and support our Talent & Culture teams.

• Onboarding & Offboarding responsibilities including management of onboarding processes and pre-employment checks, onboarding sessions and exit interviews
• Recruitment including end to end recruitment process, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience, involvement in recruitment projects
• HR Administration ensures efficient accurate record keeping of T&C files and HRIS platforms. Respond to holiday/absence requests and assist team members with T&C related requests.
• Rewards & Payroll responsibilities including, assisting with monthly Payroll administration tasks and reporting needs for T&C.
• General operations, office and support administration tasks relating to internal comms, feedback & engagement, learning & development and cultural activities as required

Experience & Competencies Required

• 2+ years administration experience (preferably in an HR, recruitment or payroll environment)
• Basic knowledge of Australian employment law and modern awards. Knowledge of NZ employment law is advantageous but not required
• High competency in Google Suite including word processing tools and spreadsheet data management (or equivalent – e.g Microsoft Office/Excel)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English
• Excellent organisational skills, prioritization, time management and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to deal with personal issues with sensitivity and empathy
• General working knowledge of HRIS, payroll, recruitment systems is desirable
• Experience in a software or SaaS SME; project management softwares such as Trello, Asana, Confluence is advantageous
