Carters is looking for a creative, analytically driven, and collaborative team member to evangelize and accelerate Data Driven Customer and loyalty marketing. This role will be responsible for driving Analytics-based recommendations and influencing Marketing Decisions within the organization.
The role will be a key catalyst for driving data driven Marketing Analytics within the organization which will place both the Consumer (and her Data) at the core of Marketing. Specifically, the Marketing Analyst will successfully build a collection of Analytical Products which will inform and influence decisions related to customer marketing via email, SMS and app push, as well as supporting all analytics for our Loyalty and Private Label Credit Card (PLCC) programs. The Marketing Analyst will help to build best practices for marketing analytics and educate others within the organization to use data in decision making and inform marketing. Additionally, this role will need to build upon strong partnerships across different stakeholder teams within the organization (Buying, Planning, Operations, Creative, Development and Marketing teams) and outside the organization (vendor partners).
− Be a champion for data-based decisions, proactively socializing data to inform business decisions
− Provide forward looking insights to identify opportunities and risks to the business
− Key reporting and metrics to analytics manager, CRM team leader and the entire marketing team
− Synthesis data to provide trend metrics to identify opportunities for the business
− Provide forward looking reporting to provide visibility for business planning and customer marketing and loyalty plan development
− Addressing Ad Hoc analytics requests as needed
− Key contributor in all predictive analytics and data modeling efforts, including building models
− Work closely with team members to provide accurate forecast projections/goals across marketing channels
– Strategic thought-partner to our direct to customer marketing, loyalty, and private label credit card programs, providing insights and data analytics for best performance, identifying opportunities to drive customer engagement and loyalty
− List selection of email, SMS and app push customers using customer segmentation analysis and insights
− Analyze and interpret data using analytics tools to evaluate existing and potential customer and loyalty marketing, carters credit card and personalization programs
− Deliver reporting and recommendations to customer and loyalty marketing, CRM, and personalization program leadership
− Set up marketing experiments/test designs to continuously test new marketing ideas across different customer segments to aid Carters personalization efforts
− Measure marketing tests and identify as well as communicate key learnings and recommendation of marketing tactics for different customer segments
− Develop and deliver on daily, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting to provide marketing leadership clear visibility to direct marketing and customer performance
− Suggest opportunities of various forms of marketing application based on desired effects
− Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users/ business analysts to define technical and process requirements
− Enhance existing reporting tools on an on-going basis to accommodate evolving business needs.
