ActiveMinds Tutoring, LLC has provided effective in-home and online tutoring in Newton and surrounding towns for 15 years. Our success is due to our thorough selection process and highly qualified tutors, as well as our ability to make excellent tutor-student matches.

Seeking teachers/tutors with excellent physics qualifications and experiences for high school students. The levels vary from college prep to AP and Honors courses.

• Applicants currently teaching in public or private schools are highly favored!

• Must have a car for IN-HOME tutoring jobs. Some families are asking that tutors start online due to Covid but will want to pivot in-person as soon as everyone feels safer. Candidates OUTSIDE the GREATER BOSTON area NEED NOT APPLY.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $70.00 – $75.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
For in-person tutoring, we are leaving it up to families and tutors to decide how they want to proceed based on their comfort level with vaccination status, Covid testing, and masks. Another tutor will be assigned if no agreement is reached.
