ASDA Hiring for Talent Acquisition Manager Job at Leeds, England Full Time

We are only as good as the people we hire. We are now recruiting a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our in-house team as we embark on this company-wide transformation.

Your Role

We are looking for a person who is as good at saying no as they are yes to stakeholders and thrive being the recruitment expert and an advisor to our business. You will be at the heart of lots of work and activity at Asda, here are four key things you will be doing:

• Using smart and innovative sourcing techniques and tools to ensure you stay above the curve when it comes to sourcing candidates. You will find new ways of working and be an early adopter of recruitment technology and applications. It’s second nature to you.
• You will use data and insights to provide Asda with talent acquisition solutions for candidate identification and engagement. However, you will go beyond just using data and become a data-driven storyteller to ensure stakeholders buy into your work both rationally and emotionally.
• You will transform job adverts, promoting what is challenging, and best about working at Asda across numerous social channels. However whilst you will be meticulous with advert creation you will equally be as focussed on being an expert on where the right places are to post them for maximum effect.
• You will quickly become an expert on the talent landscape locally, however it is now more crucial than ever that you can attract talent on a national basis too. You will be the first to know when companies are opening, closing, restructuring and being able to provide a sourcing strategy for every scenario.

About You

We are keen to find a person who has specific experience of Retail or FMCG – preferably within Commercial, Merchandising and/or Customer/Marketing. The role will likely suit someone from an in-house talent acquisition or agency recruitment team specifically with a demonstrable track record of recruiting experienced and mid to senior head office based roles

You will possess genuine enthusiasm and curiosity for Talent Acquisition and a lifelong learning mentality in order to ensure you stay relevant in your career
