The Groveland Hotel Hiring for Food & Beverage Manager at Groveland, California Full Time

The historic Groveland Hotel is now hiring a Food and Beverage Manager to run an exciting dining and bar program just outside of Yosemite National Park. The ideal candidate will draw on experience from a FOH and BOH restaurant or hospitality career to create dining and bar menus and manage kitchen staff. This is an enriching opportunity to bring creativity to a well-outfitted kitchen serving both local regulars and a steady stream of Yosemite visitors.

Responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day kitchen and bar operations.
• Develop, implement, and manage food and bar menus with dual emphasis on attractive, quality dishes and drinks, and efficiency and profitability.
• Planning and executing on-site special events.
• Direct management of kitchen and bar staff, including hiring, training, counseling and coaching. Perform regular employee reviews in an effort to promote development of service and production skills.
• Plan and manage the procurement, production, preparation and presentation of all food in the hotel in a safe, sanitary, cost effective manner.
• Safety, sanitation, and maintenance of the kitchen and bar facilities.
• Work closely with the General Manager and Owners to track, report, and adjust purchasing, budgeting, inventory control, labor costs, food costs, and pricing.
