The opportunity

The APAC Partner Matters Finance Lead has broad responsibility for all Financial aspects of Partner Matters within APAC. This includes supporting the AOE in Area level Partner Matters activities and processes, as well as hands on subject matter support to region and country managing partners and partner matters teams. This role requires knowledge of broad range of partner pension, tax and capital matters across 15 income pools as well as excellent communication, decision making and mangement skills.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the Asia Pacific Partner Reward System (APPRS) process across Asia Pacific
• Work closely with Asia Pacific Partner Matters Talent team for partner admission and retirement processes and the Leadership Evaluation and Development (LEAD) process
• Perform two partner earnings forecasts for all income pools in Asia Pacific during a fiscal year
• Responsible for (individual) Partner financial reporting for all Asia Pacific countries, and the management the Partner Earning Allocation Tool process (PEAT).
• Collaborate with the Treasury team for Partner Capital Loan programs
• Lead and supervise the China partner matters finance team on day-to-day operations which includes monthly/annual partner payment, partner tax/statutory reporting, partner inquiries.
• Assist China leadership in designing partner tax policy and profit allocation strategy within their own country for statutory reporting purpose.
• Participate in and present to the APAC Operating Executive (AOE) and Global Governance Committee (GGC) throughout the Partner evaluation and distribution setting processes

• Ability to to lead the APAC Partner Matters team and influencing region Partner Matters teams

To qualify for the role you must have

• Graduate and/or professional certification in a business related subject matter (i.e. Accounting, Finance) is required to perform this position.
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience is required to perform this position. EY experience is essential.
• Open but must be flexible to lead or participate in calls across all time zones, most specifically US Eastern and European time zones.
• Able to travel to main EY locations on a periodic basis.

Regarding this role, the minimum salary is $265,000 including 10% superannuation
