Assistant Accountant £25-30k + FTC

Sheridan Maine are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join an Company with a great reputation based near Cannock . This is an exciting opportunity for someone to make a strong impression on this employer of choice

The Company

Continued change and expansion for this forward looking business means that they are required to hire immediately to bolster the finance team. They require an Assistant Accountant to ensure the team continue to meet deadlines and obligations.

The Role

The duties of the Assistant Accountant include:

  • Provide healp with balance sheet control accounts
  • Produce journals to correct payroll transactions
  • Assist with the intercompany reconciliations
  • Assist with the month end close process
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as needed

As well as being technically able, the successful Assistant Accountant will be:

  • Actively studying Part qualified the client will also consider suitable qualfied by experience candidates
  • Exposure to balance sheet reconciliations
  • Excellent communication skills
